PIRAN SALT PDO 250g

Piran salt is a precious product of the Sečoveljske Soline Nature Park and is the result of the work of restless wind, warm sun and hardworking salt pan workers.

It is made manually in a traditional way that is more than 700 years old. The process of salt formation is natural crystallization on the salt fields protected by petola - a valuable biosedimentary sustrate consisting of minerals and microorganisms.

The salt is light and has an extraordinary taste, which is complemented by the parent water caught within the crystals.
